I tell my friends that I have a limited area of interests....they laugh. Even though, I am not in the crafting business full time, it fully contains my attention.  I Love all things crafting, and doing things with my hands. I enjoy knitting and stamping, and making fun projects!  So, this weekend starts off with the Craft Hobby Association or CHA as it is known.  There will be 'celebrities', and LOTS of fun new products!   I'm looking forward to seeing designers like Tim Holtz ....some celebrities might not be known to non crafting people, but most of us who are paper crafters, know Tim.....I'm also taking a Sizzix class, so that should be fun!  I'll post some of the projects and other things that I see this weekend, so I hope you'll enjoy the fun!

happy birthday!

I cased this card from the CATALOG!  I didn't want to use the same colors so I changed it up a bit...and this is what I came out with!
Using SO SAFFRON for the card and then Old Olive, and Tangerine Tango cardstock for accents.  Stamped in Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist and Tangerine Tango.

The flower is Tangerine Tango and the mini brad finishes the flower!  Perfect for a gift enclosure!

Mixed Bunch

This came from Patty Bennet's blog. I got the idea from her blog (maybe someone submitted to her)...but I loved the colors!  Pool Party, and Island Indigo!  Very simple card for a Stamp a Stack!

Stamping the flowers in Pool Party and I stamped the flowers onto the cardstock directly, only 1/2 through. Layered the ribbon on top and then stamped the flower on white and punched out!

Very simply done!

Cheering for CHERRIES!

I'm thinking of Joan Jett and CH-CH-CH Cherry Bomb!  I love cherries and of course since the new Mini Catalog has a HUGE cherry stamp, I had to use it!  It also coordinates with the papers from the Sweet Shop designer papers!  I hoard cherries, so I am using my paper 'sparingly'....ok, I know, I can buy more, but I have a hard time parting with some papers sometimes!

So..I stamped this using ink and then decided to use...Cherry scented Embossing power!  YES! It's in the mini Catalog!  I applied 2 way glue to the cherries, and then heated it up. Of course when you open the little jar to the embossing power, the cherry scent just starts flowing!!! YUM!

When someone opens this envelope, they will smell the scent of Cherries. Doesn't that make you smile? I do!
